Blogger Killed In Batman Shooting; Survived Recent Massacre In Toronto

As more details emerge of the Colorado shooting, a victim by the name of Jessica Redfield has already captivated the internet. Jessica was an aspiring sportscaster and blogger and just recently survived a similar shooting in Toronto. In fact, her last blog post is very eery as she writes about the shooting and the “odd feeling” she had in her chest, which prompted her to leave the Eaton Centre where the shooting ensued. Jessica blogged about several topics, but loved hockey and one witty blog post comparing the variety of men she may encounter or date and compared them to certain hockey teams. It was a very funny piece and it demonstrated her ability to engage female and male readers in a unique way in relevance to sports and culture.

Unfortunately, I have only discovered Jessica’s talents because of this tragedy and it saddens me to think of what could have been for her. My condolences to Jessica and her family.
