I was watching the news last night and saw a blurb about Lindsey Lohan going back to court.  It seems the train wreck; I mean starlet has landed herself in jail again.  Yesterday the actress/professional probation violator appeared before a judge for a probation violation.  It seems Ms. Lohan managed to get herself fired from her court ordered community service.  Apparently she didn’t deem in necessary to show at the woman’s shelter she was serving at.

My question is this, how many times is she supposed to get a slap on the wrist before someone really punishes her? I mean this is her 5^th time appearing before a Judge since 2007! If she was anyone else with that record that keeps violating probation they would be locked up for a long time.

Yesterday the judge said to her, “There is such a thing as looking a gift horse in the mouth.” Gee ya think.  I mean maybe it’s just me but do you think someone may have said that like the third time she got arrested.

Enough is enough with this girl.  The only way she will learn is to be held accountable for her actions.  Time after time she is spitting in the face of the court system and essentially saying “Nah, Nah, Na Nah, Nah” and sticking her tongue out at the legal system.  It is obvious she believes she can and will do anything she wants.

I can’t help but wonder what is going through her head.  I mean it is almost like she doesn’t understand that jail is a real possibility for her.  Although, I can’t entirely blame her, so far the criminal justice system has enabled her to feel that way.

It is my opinion that this is a blatant case of a celebrity receiving special treatment.  Walk into any jail and talk to someone who has a record like hers…chances are they will be serving some time! It shouldn’t matter if your rich or poor, a celebrity or an average person, courts should treat people the same across the board.

Lindsey is due back in court on November 2 to answer to this new charge.  Let’s hope she gets a judge that sees her for what she is…a severely messed up brat with a huge sense of entitlement. Otherwise she will just continue to make a mockery of the court system until she finally hurts herself or someone else with her reckless behavior.  Unfortunately it doesn’t take a physic to predict how this one will end.
