During the Republican primary, Newt Gingrich stated that the U.S. should put a colony on the moon.  As he should have expected, he was routinely mocked for such high minded aspirations, regardless of how forward thinking they actually were.  SNL, did an amazing skit with Newt and his follow Republicans on a theorized moon base in the future.  So, fast forward to the olympics opening ceremony.  Apparently, a UFO has been videotaped by several different people.  It is a strange video and does look ‘authentic’, if one can call a video of a UFO authentic.   Anyhow, obviously Newt has nothing do to with this, but I figured it was a good headline to get people’s attention so you can watch this crazy video.
